 About the role

Group Governance is the global governance team that provides governance and company secretarial support to the Chairman, the Board, Board Committees and subsidiary entities. 

The Administrator, Board Management Office (BMO) provides end to end lifecycle administrative support to the Risk & Audit Committee (RAC), and also provides administration support to the Vice President Group Governance and the broader team in Melbourne.      

In this role you will: 

  • Ensure efficient running of administrative processes within the VP Group Governances office including VPs diary management
  • Manage all aspects of travel for the Group Governance team
  • Provide end to end lifecycle support for RAC meetings and paper processes
  • Assist Team Lead, BMO with projects as required
  • Maintain the Permanent Insider list and security dealing clearance requests
  • Editing and formatting stock exchange releases
  • Provide support on shareholder queries 

About you

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant ideally gained within a large global organisation. Your competency in project management and coordination will be complimented by strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is a proven capability to communicate with senior stakeholders.

You will have a confident and professional approach, having worked with a range of stakeholders particularly at the executive level. Naturally you will take pride in your work, be calm under pressure and demonstrate a high level of initiative and a 'can-do' attitude. Your attention to detail and your customer focused service style in dealing with your key stakeholders is crucial. Proficiency in the MS office suite of applications is also essential.
